Data Entry for Sweepstakes Contest #12

Job Details



We have 2000 entries for a web contest that is similar to a sweepstakes or lottery. There is a business need to enter the data into the system within the next 3 days, so we are looking for 15 data entry specialists to split up the work and each spend an hour or two entering data. If you do a good job and enjoy the work, we have additional similar work that needs to be done.

A typical web entry for this project consists of: First Name, Last Name, Street Address, City, State, Postal Zip Code, Phone Number, Birth Date, Email Address, and Captcha Code ( [obscured] /wiki/CAPTCHA).

You will be provided a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with the information that needs to be entered into the web form. The web sites you will be inputting data into are all USA based web sites. We are estimating that each spreadsheet entry will take 1 to 2 minutes depending on how fast you work and how fast your internet connection.




Job Description:

We are currently seeking 15 expert Data Entry Specialists that can receive information from a variety of sources and can accurately and quickly enter it into a web form. Here's what you need to know.

Your responsibilities:

- Be proficient with a web browser and Microsoft Excel
- Be able to enter data into web forms that require Captcha verification (see [obscured] /wiki/CAPTCHA)
- Complete data entry tasks in a timely fashion
- Ensure the accuracy of both data input and output
- Periodically double check your work

Your qualifications:

- Previous experience in data entry
- Willingness to take feedback and adapt to requests 
- Ability to pay close attention to detail as well as excellent organizational skills
- Typing speed of 50 WPM or higher
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented 

Deliverables: 

1. Completed Data Entry forms in a timely manner, and near term availability for at least one hour during the next 3 days based on the date when you apply for this project.
2. Completed E-lance time reports
